Sunset is at about 8:45PM each night of the conference in Atlanta. See also our Travel page for public transit and parking info.
This food hall and collection of breweries along Atlanta's mixed-use trail the Beltline is a popular destination for groups big and small. Dining and beverage options are plentiful.
Join us for an informal warm-up to the conference itself! We'll start at the food hall on the western side of Lee + White to have dinner. Afterwards, we can move in whatever groups see fit to either Monday Night Brewing, Wild Heaven Beer, or Boxcar, all of which are next to each other a short walk away.
Look for the folks in Sunday Assembly shirts! Let us know via the WhatsApp chat or Discord conference channel if you need help connecting with us.
As the Friday schedule says, options for cozy and friendly gatherings put on by locals will be available for sign-ups on Friday. Do something fun an unexpected while you're here! These may include going swimming, seeing a movie, or doing arts and crafts.
Some transportation may be provided, especially for more distant activities.
As the Saturday schedule says, a wide variety of dinner options will be available for sign-ups on Saturday. This can be a great opportunity to connect with friends new and old over a unique experience. We've done the work of picking our faves and hosting.
Choices will span diet needs, cost, and proximity to the venue. Want something fancy? Something close? Something cheap? We got you.
Some transportation may be provided, especially for more distant restaurants.
Be ready to come back to the conference venue for the unmissable...
This keystone event of many conferences past is your chance to show a talent, be vulnerable, or just belt out your favorite song. Whether you've prepared something special, you feel the spark in the moment to try something new, or you just want to support your fellow Assemblers, this is a can't-miss moment where folks show another side of themselves.
A cash bar will (probably) be available.
As the Sunday schedule says, one or more group activities will be available for you to consider joining. These will be the perfect, chill experience after a busy and stimulating weekend.
Some transportation may be provided.
Wind down from the conference at our usual third-Sunday potluck gathering. (You've been occupied at a big event, so you're excused from bringing anything.) We'll be playing board games and socializing among other Sunday Assembly Atlanta community members, some of whom maybe couldn't attend the conference. They'd love to hear about your experience and what your chapter is like, as long as you're not trouncing them at the cute board game between you.
The First Existentialist Congregation's building is our monthly home. It is owned by a Unitarian-Universalist-adjacent community that we get along with quite well. It's an historic building, built originally as a Black church and full of lovely art. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable if you need a breather. It's a 25-minute walk from the conference venue, for reference. Parking is plentiful along the wide street.
If you're still around, reach out in the WhatsApp group or Discord conference channel to connect with others, local or otherwise, for a meal or to see the sights. You're our guests until you depart, and we're glad to have you.
