Atlanta Botanical Garden - on Eastern Beltline*
Enjoy relaxing, beautiful, fragrant, and extensive grounds full of plant species that will dazzle you. Try both the rain forest and desert environments inside, and be sure to see at least 100 orchids.
This city east of Atlanta and part of the metro area has great restaurants, shops, and local history. See the civil rights legend John Lewis's statue, enjoy Rebel Tea boba, and catch someone busking some great tunes all within a few blocks.

Krog Street Tunnel - on Eastern Beltline*
Appreciate this tunnel as an endlessly spray-painted art gallery. Ever-changing, a walk through it shows a different side of Atlanta, and murals along its south side show more durable works.
Ponce City Market - on Eastern Beltline*
Shop and enjoy a multi-faceted food hall in this restored Sears warehouse and show floor.
Learn the evolution of life amidst giant dinosaurs, among many other science exhibits, in this fun museum for all ages. Note that this is different from the Fernbank Science Center, which has a planetarium and telescope.
